The same language can be spoken in different ways. Think about how you speak and how that cousin who lives in Yucatan speaks. Do you notice some differences? Do some words seem unknown to you? There are varieties of each language that are very different even if the language has the same name. This is the case with Mixtec or Ñuu Savi. The Mixtec language is spoken in several southern states of Mexico (including Oaxaca and Guerrero). If you look at the different riddles in this book you will find the great differences and some similarities of Ñuu Savi or language of the rain, as its speakers call it.
