The legendary series follows an elite squad of detectives in the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department as they seek justice for victims of the most heinous crimes. Capt. Olivia Benson leads the unit, which includes Benson's second-in-command, Sgt. Odafin "Fin" Tutuola, Detective Joe Velasco and Detective Terry Bruno. Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Dominick "Sonny" Carisi fights for closure for the victims while dealing with the politics of the DA's office.
