Thank YOU Darynda Jones for some more laughs. This series is a MUST for all paranormal fans! Besides, not much of a commitment as both book 1 and 2 are only 300 pages. DJ gets to the point with some funnies here and there. Sometimes humor in books can be distracting but with Charley it not only fits but makes her character all that much more love-her-want-to-be-her!There was a little bit more going on in this installment and some nice family development towards the end. Nothing too deep and the storyline has enough to keep a reader interested.I can’t help but wonder however...what’s up with Reyes. Book 1 starts with them already having a sexual relationship ... kinda ... there is no "getting to know one another". Just read like lust (in book 1). In this book we see she has deeper feelings but it seems to make little sense to me as she doesn’t even know the real him...corporeal or incorporeal.By the way, HATED Reyes when he called her a bad name. I digress ... great, fun book. Recommend to ALL!
