I really like this book. It is unique. Kind of like The Lovely Bones in that a ghost is piecing together the circumstances of her death. This book takes that a bit further and adds two characters, one living, and one dead. In addition to processing her death, Amelia is also torn between the living character (Joshua) and the dead one (Eli). Wonderful writing style. Edit: now that I've finished the whole book, it also had a bit of a twilight feel. It got a little hokey at the end with the "intensity" and "happily ever after" at the end (c'mon, it's been what? A week since they met?) but still, an enjoyable read.
