I read this with an open mind, and it was a good read, although a bit exhausting, almost 800 pages of dry facts. (The short version: the mafia did it.) I use the word "facts" somewhat skeptically. The author seems to make many conclusions and assumptions that seem to be backed up by nothing more than hearsay. And it seems a little convenient that the author links the 3 assassinations directly to Vietnam policy, Watergate, Iran-Contra, and the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa among others. It's as if all major political events from 1960-1990 are all connected to a small bunch of mafia and crooks wreaking havoc on society. To be fair, the book claims that many relevations are made that have only recently come to light. I will investigate other independent sources to see if any of this is corroborated before I believe these massive conspiracy theories.
