I just watched this movie for the first time today, and it was awesome! Better than expected acting; sometimes when you see a kids spy movie the acting is so-so. Violence is at a minimum but realistic. Watch it! :)

books are better than this movie. Slightly better than the lightning thief movie adaptation. But that is stretching the truth.

I love it, the book is cool but seeing it on the screen is the best.

The movie Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker is full of action and adventure and takes us on a journey through captivating spy missions. The rating for this movie is PG. Throughout the movie 14 year old Alex Rider joins a spy agency, and is sent out on a mission to destroy the Stormbreaker. It is a great movie for kids to watch and enjoy, and often keeps you sitting at the end of your seat. Because of the death of his uncle, who he finds out to be a spy as well, Alex sets out to finish his uncle’s unfinished mission. This movie is really interesting to watch as the scenes have a story of their own. This movie also reminds me of Men in Black, Spy Kids, etc. Both movies are based on Spies, mysteries, and saving the world! This movie is named as the best James Bond classic ever. The director did an awesome job on this movie. Alex is an entertaining and cool character. His adventures take you on a long journey through your mind. This movie makes you feel excited of what’s going to happen next. Watch it and be amazed! You yourself will feel like you are going on an adventure. This movie is the kind worth sitting through again and again. I wouldn’t say that this movie is only based on Spy missions because it isn’t. Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker is also filled with romance, mystery, etc. I hope they think of making the next movie, because it would be amazing!

Definatly what the comic book of Alex Rider was based off of. Not a bad movie either. They all sound like Harry Potter though xD Funny British accents.

Read the novel though too!

Violence: at a minimum. someone is fatally electrocuted by a sea creature. two people are shot, though you don't see it, and one falls off a several story building. you hear the impact but don't see anything. someone throws knives at someone else, purposefully missing. i'm only mentioning any of this for families with small children. best part: 0% language! "hell" isn't even used.
