It's A Disaster
DVD - 2013
A group of close friends meet for their monthly 'couples brunch.' What starts as a typical gathering turns into an impromptu therapy session of airing out domestic grievances. Compounding the awkward situation is a sudden, mysterious attack on the city. Trapped in the house and unsure of their fates, these seemingly normal adults become increasingly unhinged to hilarious, surprising, and revealing results.

Add a CommentThere are some great one liners in this film, but the actor's delivery flatlined every one of them. I found this difficult to watch as it went on. Even David Cross couldn't save this disaster. I suggest finding another comedy, as this one is not worth the effort. C-
I liked this movie, I found it quirky and different. I liked America Ferrera and Julia Stiles characters the best.
I didn't think this was that funny- a couple of laughs here and there but overall it wasn't great.
The title is correct, this movie is a disaster. Almost unwatchable, it details the touchy feely aspects of a literary approach to the movies. It is not entertaining, a disaster at the box office. There are some good movies on this theme such as The Crazies (2010), of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think it is a waste of time to watch this movie.
I watched this about 6 months ago and I already want to watch it again.
Call me massively biased, but any movie with Julia Stiles in it is a great movie!
1.5 hour sitcom.
From the cover the movie looks stupid but the story quickly becomes wacky & entertaining by the character's idiosyncrasies.
Funny little film, worth watching.
This is a very funny movie, and has a lot more laughs than the other two films in my "End of the World" trinity, Melancholia and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
