Everyone should read this book! It was wonderful both for people and dogs. It is a very moving book and easy to read, especially in Large Print. They have made a movie or online viewing of this story and I hope to find it.

This is an amazing book! First of all, Eric is so easy to relate to. His terrible life as a fat person is heart breaking. But the transformation, through his relationship with canine Peeti and adopting a plant-based diet, is phenomenal. On so many levels, this is a fantastic book! Thank you Eric and Peeti.

Inspiring. The very overweight author with multiple health problems takes the advice of a doctor to become vegan and get a dog for forced exercise. This is not the solution for everyone but for this man it worked. I enjoyed his weight loss journey and how adopting a dog became a good source of exercise (for man and dog) not to mention the human to animal bonding that took place. This is also a good book for the person who is starting at square one to change to a healthier diet. If this guy did it, anyone can.
