Never knew that Werner Herzog was friends with the writer and amateur ethnologist Bruce Chatwin, but it makes sense now. They both led vagabond lifestyles and lived the sacral aspects of Walking. Herzog follows in Chatwin's footsteps and shows us where their lives, here and there, converged.
