Lost at Home
Book IIIeBook - 2016
John continues his journey of being left at home alone while his parents went on a family vacation. While his mother is desperately trying to fly back home to get John he is getting ready to take on a fight of his own with some bad guys that would try to break and enter into his home. Little did the bad guys know how smart John was and he had a plan in store or them to make them look like fools. As soon as the bad guys try to walk onto the property at John's house they get caught in the sprinkler system that John had installed earlier that afternoon. The bad guys looked at each other in anger because they both said and thought that there was no sprinkler system at the house. The bad guys thought that it would be an easy fix to get into the house and get out with all kinds of goodies and money but John had a different plan in mind for them. John uses his brain to outsmart the criminals and make their lives miserable. After scaring them away the first night, John decides to try and capture them this time and turn them in for breaking and entering. John would later learn that the two of them had a history of robbing houses and banks. Would John be able to fend them off? Would he save the day? Would he capture them and get them turned in? Read book III of "Lost at Home" to find out. Here is an excerpt from the book."John's mother was a little more calm now that she was on the way and had talked to her son on the phone. She just worried about him and wanted to make sure that he was safe. As soon as John got off the phone with his mother he began to draw a diagram of the plan he was going to use that evening to fend off the bad guys. He knew they would be back after dark because he head them talking about it when the sirens started coming before they left the night before. John had a plan to set off a big alarm system when the bad guys tried to open the door. The house did not even have an alarm system but John was able to make one on his own and this would be plenty to scare the bad guys away because everyone in the entire community would be coming outside to see what was going on and checking out the bad guys trying to break into John's home." --Provided by publisher.
