The problem is becoming critical.A government operation, in Washington, is attempting to solve what must be a computer problem, under political pressure. However, the efforts fall under the control of politicians and one Jason is ousted from the effort. Jason is Civil Service and can't be fired, but the resolution of Jason's dismissal will take quite a bit of time. Despite a blacklist situation, Jason manages to get a job, similar to his old government job, only with a government contractor company. Janice, a lady who has known Jason since school days, has a supper date with Jason. Janice, over the course of the evening tells Jason that she's employed by a government organization that's attempting to find out who could be hacking into bank computer systems and stealing money from terrorist organizations. Her organization can't determine who the hacker might be. However, Janice knows who the hacker must be and that the hacker must be very wealthy by now. Jason points out that what Janice believes is an interesting scenario. However, it's just a scenario and there's no proof or even solid evidence. Janice then tells Jason that she intends to continue her investigation, in her apartment, tonight. Jason, as a public spirited citizen, agrees to continue the investigation, even if it takes all night. --Provided by publisher.
