This is a novella. Callie Norton and her parents move into a new house in San Diego. Callie's a military brat that unfortunately is always the new kid in school every year. She's dying to make new friends so she'll know someone when she starts high school. Since they live near the beach, she goes out to explore and meets Jimmy Colton, a kid her own age who really catches her eye. But because Jimmy's alone with her on the beach she doesn't think she should tell her mother about him just yet. So Jimmy and Callie enjoy swimming, fishing, and exploring the beach together. Still, when one is attracted to another they tend to test the waters. Callie is almost sixteen, but her parents see her as a child still. With time on their hands Jimmy and Callie begin to explore each other and their relationship blossoms to her being his girl. But Callie is deep into just how far can she go with a boy before she says no? She likes Jimmy a lot, but she's well aware of the consequences too. Can she put the brakes on?. --Provided by publisher.
