This book will simply leave you missing Tony.

This book has a reader, it just isn't me. As a fan of Anthony Bourdain, I really wanted to enjoy this book. Unfortunately, Bourdain only contributed an outline of an idea before his death, so this ended up being a collection of quotes transcribed from his TV shows, held together by a mish-mash of storytelling in past tense. It also arrives at an odd time in our lives as travelers, when a global pandemic has changed the way we approach a visit to even our local watering holes. It has a few bright moments but overall, this book left me feeling a bit sad.
