Okay horror, mild humor. The social commentary was unnecessary and heavy handed. They choose the most stereotypical issues from both sides and smashed in there without any substance so it really did stick out bad. It could have been better as a satire . As a horror not bad . Typical fights and some blood.

I really didn't think I would like this movie but by the end I was really enjoying its sharp dark humor. It doesn't hold back on poking jabs at both the far political right and the far political left. Also the final fight scene was possibly one of the best that I have ever seen.

That's one word I'll use. Other viewers are going to have their own words. (Among them, "Why am I watching this?). But I knew what I was about to see (more or less) before I clicked "play."

Not sorry I watched...but a little disappointed, especially by the ending. And I don't care how hard and long they planned and rehearsed it. It's still an "easy out." What's an alternative? Heck if I know. However...

Some great fun getting to it. Standout scenes: the mayhem in the country store, and the revelation that there are asylum-seekers hiding in the boxcar of that moving train. Hilarious!

Thanks for that. In the time o' Covid, we need all the laughs we can get, especially the ones aimed at social pretention, political correctness, activism and all the OTHER plagues of 2020-2021

The producers of this celluloid calls this a horror movie. It's really more like a satirical mockery of the fact that neither political side of voters and supporters in real life are on the winning team. The fact that the majority of political slaves in real life are consciously supporting the Covid-19 Hoax,is really the only receipt you need for my comment to make sense.

Complete and utter fantasy, but enjoyable if you can stomach the gore and the ham-handed social commentary. There's ALOT of suspension of disbelief here, so much so, that I often found myself saying, "come on!!!" out loud. If you watch it, because you heard that this is the story of a "deplorable" sticking it to liberal elites, then sorry to disappoint, but it is not that. Worth the watch for Betty Gilpin alone: one of the best actors currently working. If you like her, watch "Glow" on Netflix.

This was a very good move that had some good twists and turns. For us it was one of the best we have seen recently. Watch it you will enjoy it too.

Ultimate ruthless elitists vs likeable deplorables.

Cheeky humor, abundant gore and biting political satire...this movie has it all. Betty Gilpin steals the show!

Very violent and bloody. Very entertaining.

This movie was much better than expected. I missed reading Animal Farm in school but feel I must read it now.

Only 6 quotes in IMDb but with the Jack Rabbit story in full. This site has extensive quotes from the film and includes both the JackRabbit and Snowball stories.

However, neither includes this between the two femme fatales in the middle of a life and death fight:

Athena (Swank): One second. No more glass.
Nor this reference to bigots:

Woman: Deplorables.
Man: It's... charged.
Athena (Swank): Well, I initially typed fucking rednecks, but then I decided that wasn't specific...
Man: Hey, come on.
Athena (Swank): What? What would you prefer I call them, Paul? Gun-clutching homophobes?
Man: Hey, stop, please.
Athena (Swank): Academically challenged racists?
Man: Hey. Hey.
Athena (Swank): What about tooth-deprived bigots?
