Agree with LJHan's review. The author doesn't try very hard to present a balanced account from other information I've read about Pistorius's behavior generally and towards Reeva. Negative things are briefly mentioned, but this book just reads like a list of testimonies from pro-Pistorius character witnesses and I ended up giving up on it because that turned me off so much.

I knew of this case and followed the trial albeit inconsistently. I had seen the 48 Hours interview at the time, and thought there would be more to learn. Wonderfully written and very easy to read. Am looking forward to the book on Nelson Mandela by the same author. I would highly recommend this book!

Couldn't finish this.
This book is so pro Pistorius--by the second page that was obvious--that I wondered why I never saw his halo while watching him run on TV...perhaps halos don't show up on cameras?
