Vocalises

Rate this:
The vocalise is an invaluable tool in the development of the voice. The vocalises have been chosen for their musicality as well as for their effectiveness in developing various aspects of vocal technique: pure vowels, rhythmic precision, legato, articulation, phrasing, dynamics, a sense of musical line, vocal balance through the range, technical agility, breath control, intonation and musicianship. Although challenging, these vocalises should not be beyond the student's technical or musical ability.
