This serial seems very poorly made. The effects, the plot, the villain, even the music are all notably worse than usual for this era. A lot of time is spent showing a silver ball chasing after the Doctor. Perhaps for the hardcore fan it would be interesting because it has commentary by Tom Baker added years after the original production.

This was a really good episode, especially since filming was never finished. The cliffhanger's are AMAZING!!! More than 30 years in the TARDIS is okay i guess.

may I request the Library add some more Tom Baker era Doctor Who series to its collection please?
I gather from other Doctor Who fans Tom Baker is generally considered the definitive Doctor, and its a shame we only have this one incomplete series in the Library collection
the Third Doctor Jon Pertwee seems to be very well regarded as well

otherwise, nice to have available examples of the First Doctor (Reign of Terror) and the last Doctor before the shows cancellation in 1989 (DragonFire, Happiness Patrol), it all helps give context to the new series

Not a fan of new series but this was just terrible!
