"This paper will discuss the synoptic situation that resulted in the development of lowtopped supercells in the Sacramento valley on 21 February 2005 in section 2. An examination of radar imagery from the WSR-88D in Davis, CA (KDAX) for the Southport, CA, Natomas, CA and Dunnigan, CA tornadoes will be presented in section 3. 5 Included in section 3 is a discussion on supercell movement and the hodographs for the Natomas, CA and Dunnigan, CA tornadoes.
