So disappointing! It's hard to believe this is from the same author as the series that starts with The Coroner's Lunch. That series, with Dr. Siri as the main character, is deft, witty, and thoroughly enjoyable.
This one, however, is none of those. It's just dumb.

Wow, I found an author that I really love and what a well-crafted mystery laced with humour and insight into current-day Thailand . I loved the quotes from George W. Bush and a the main female character.

I loved Dr Siri and was diffident when Colin Cotterill moved on to Jimm Juree, but I need not have feared. She's an interesting character and the story was enjoyable,

I loved Coterill's Dr. Siri series and was very hopeful about this new series. While it took me some time to get used to the new characters (I missed Dr. Siri), I loved them by the end. It will be a good series.

This series has the potential to equal Cotterill's wonderful Dr Siri (the coroner in 1970's Laos) series.

Set in Thailand. Like the #1 Ladies Detective Agency. Very fun and funny. Not gruesome.

After several attempts to read it, I gave up I found it uninteresting. I greatly enjoy his Dr. Siri Series.

Fun quick read. Main character has a great sense of humour. Gives a different perspective in Thai life and times.
