The second book in this series reads much like the first. The author takes less time on Burton's background and focuses more on some of the secondary characters in this book - fleshing out the world a bit more. I still love the gritty industrial-London feel and the breakneck pace of the story. If you enjoyed Spring-heeled Jack, this is well worth picking up.
