Add a CommentI really liked this book because it had some interesting facts that I never knew about. Like, they eat a large variety of berries such as thimbleberries, devil club berries, salalberries and huckleberries.
The Salmon Bears was about the connection between grizzly bears, black bears and spirit bears and their habitat. This book helped me to understand that everything in the rainforest is connected in some way. The book went into detail about their daily life and how they are able to survive in each of the seasons. The salmon that are born every spring are essential, because they are a huge part of the Eco-system. Not only do they help the bears, obviously, but they help the survival of nearly every single living creature in the rainforest. One of the things that I loved most about this book were the great photographs of the bears in their environment.
