One of Tony Gilroy's best screenplays. Carefully plotted (intricate, but never convoluted) and perpetually involving. Plus, the ever-underrated Hugh Grant gives a career-best performance.

A lot of the specific mateiral is dated. However, a great deal of the situation and conflicts is timeless. Highly ironic black humour about the medical "system."
