This book proves you’re never too old to enjoy a bit of “nonsense” epic poetry!

Carroll generally wrote for children, but I found this book entertaining as an adult too. The story is bizarre and funny at times, and the surreal artwork is mesmerizing as well.

A phenomenal book. If the poem itself isn't enough, the Surrealist-inspired drawings bring a whole new dimension to the eight fits. Both Carroll's clever preface and the illustrator's afterword bring amusing and informative context. Love love love.
