OOhh so sweetly real in premise!
How real would you like to take this?

Simple pen and ink drawings, important subject but the stories sometimes lectured the reader and were largely superficial.

Excellent as a primer or reminder.

I wouldn't say I loved this one, because I read novels and this was in a graphic style, although I would say that I enjoyed reading it when I didn't really have anything else to do.
It was decent.

Immensely compassionate read on mental illness. Simple comic illustrations convey much in this insightful graphic novel.

Read this at the VPL. Compilation of psychiatric ward cases by a ex-ward nurse. The simplistic black and white comic art lets the reader focus not on the art but on the information, which gives a overview of the main types of psychiatric illness through various somber anecdotes. Innovative medium for informing others about this sort of thing; reading comics is way more compelling than reading pamphlets or books. Not a terribly emotional read, but there are some things that would shock the uninitiated.
