Not since Lennon/Richards, Mccartney/Jagger or Captain and Tennille has a duetical musical force reframed the rules and boundaries of society. Bret and Jemaine have influenced religion, science and governments to make change the face of democracy, spiritual divinity and a whole new theory on the creation of the universe involving a freaky quantum entanglement. This has caused anarchists to organize with purpose and build affordable houses in the likes of habitat for humanity (only to spray paint 'flight of the conchords' all over the walls).
Man, what happened to Flight of the Conchords? The music on this album is definitely well-crafted. But it seems this "comedy" duo focused so much on the expensive production that they forgot the humor. Their self-titled debut album was hilarious, largely because Brit and Jermaine had such great chemistry. But on this album, they can't seem to gel. This album sounds great, but IT'S NOT FUNNY!
I love this album! The songs are great: funny and memorable. Fantastic!
This is an excellent album. Comedically, it's a little inferior to their previous CD, but musically, they've definitely improved. Very enjoyable, all around.
The Flight of the Conchords are one of the few bands who can make novelty music that also works as regular, have-it-on-in-the-background music. I used to play this all of the time in a retail store where I worked, and the customers loved it. Weird Al? Not so much.
this was dumb. No where as funny as their previous release which had me in hysterics. Unfortunately just really try hard. sorry conchords this is a big FAIL
