I finished this book like 5 minutes ago, I loved it. I couldn't put it down, written very well, keeps you super hooked, and I hadn't guessed what would happen at the end until it was happening! There are moments where I could see plot holes, but I think the overall story and writing makes up for it. I really enjoyed reading this.

I sped through this psychological thriller and really enjoyed it. It absolutely kept me guessing the entire time and I didn't get tired of being in only Christine's head (who can't remember the previous day) at all. Using severe amnesia as a plot device worked very well and helped to kick up the confusion for the reader a couple of notches.

I watched the movie first and almost quite the idea of reading the book. But when I started I simply couldn't stop it!
The author's description about the feelings of the main character is more than perfect and I kept reading it until the end!
I highly recommend this book if you like mysteries!

After the surprise ending, this book makes you want to go back and read it again, to see it from a different perspective! However I do agree with other comments on here, how the bulk of the book gets tedious, with the repetitive action of her day, and never really finding out much more information until the end.

One of my favorite thrillers to recommend to patrons. It was also made into a movie with Nicole Kidman. https://jocolibrary.bibliocommons.com/item/show/1370895036_before_i_go_to_sleep

I started reading this book on a flight from here to the east coast. I had a hard time putting it down once I started it. Very suspenseful and enjoyable read.

One unfortunate consequence of the "amnesiac thriller" is that the narrative can get bogged down in the repetitive quotidian life of the POV protagonist, but this book was really chilling, with quite the twists and turns. I SO want to read the novel that Christine wrote but forgot about!!!

A woman who has lost her short term memory and wakes up every morning scared because she doesn't recognize the man in bed with her. Not to worry, it's her husband. Or is it?

There were never going to be any happy endings for me. I know that now. But that is all right.
