The idea is really interesting and I wanted to like it more, but it became so repetitive (understandably given the premise, but it's not much fun to read the same thing over and over), that by the end of the book when the writing seemed to get rushed, I was grateful. Maybe the author was getting tired of things too? For me, it was just OK.

Such an unusual concept. the first chapter is captivating as it reveals the premise

Holy Helen. Reading that twice should be an official form of punishment around the world. SUB-ZERO stars. Is S.J. Watson still "writing"? Because he or she should stop. Stop and take up knitting.

Very well written psychological thriller. It keeps you reading and guessing. The simplified end feels unrealistic and melodramatic.

I finished this book like 5 minutes ago, I loved it. I couldn't put it down, written very well, keeps you super hooked, and I hadn't guessed what would happen at the end until it was happening! There are moments where I could see plot holes, but I think the overall story and writing makes up for it. I really enjoyed reading this.

I sped through this psychological thriller and really enjoyed it. It absolutely kept me guessing the entire time and I didn't get tired of being in only Christine's head (who can't remember the previous day) at all. Using severe amnesia as a plot device worked very well and helped to kick up the confusion for the reader a couple of notches.

I watched the movie first and almost quite the idea of reading the book. But when I started I simply couldn't stop it!
The author's description about the feelings of the main character is more than perfect and I kept reading it until the end!
I highly recommend this book if you like mysteries!

After the surprise ending, this book makes you want to go back and read it again, to see it from a different perspective! However I do agree with other comments on here, how the bulk of the book gets tedious, with the repetitive action of her day, and never really finding out much more information until the end.

One of my favorite thrillers to recommend to patrons. It was also made into a movie with Nicole Kidman. https://jocolibrary.bibliocommons.com/item/show/1370895036_before_i_go_to_sleep

This was one excellent read, so make surprise to read it before watching the movie.

There were never going to be any happy endings for me. I know that now. But that is all right.
