I recommend this comical DVD for all ages. Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey has a weak story but the slapstick humour keeps it moving. I laughed a lot. I saw no violence to prevent children from watching it. The actors did a great job.

For as dumb as it is this holds up very well due mostly to the good-natured performances, snappy direction, and a script that is wittier than it seems. Also, according to imdb, one of only 3 films that feature both Abraham Lincoln and Ghengis Khan as characters, so it has that going for it…which is nice.

I expected a dumb slacker comedy filled with endless stupidity, but I was pleasantly surprised. This film is not only entertaining, but it's also a lesson in both timeloops and historically significant figures, like Billy the Kid, Freud, Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Socrates, Abraham Lincoln, and Joan of Arc. I was genuinely entertained and my expectations were surpassed by far. Considering its attention to some important details, I feel this film is ideal for a basic world history lesson. Furthermore, I highly recommend it for its entertainment value! It truly was an excellent adventure.

Ridiculous, but awesome. Too bad they couldn't stop with one movie though!

I had fun watching this. It wasn't miraculous in any way, but it was silly humour without being annoying. Bill and Ted have about as much brains as a stereotypical "surfer dude" and the plot is just absurd but nothing is serious in this movie and that is why flying phone booths are okay. I really can't justify why this movie was fun but it was.
