Wedding photographer Mackensie "Mac" Elliot is most at home behind the camera, but her focus is shattered moments before an important wedding rehearsal when she bumps into the bride-to-be's brother...an encounter that has them both seeing stars. A stable, safe English teacher, Carter Maguire is definitely not Mac's type. But a casual fling might be just what she needs to take her mind off bridezillas. Of course, casual flings can turn into something more when you least expect it. And Mac will have to turn to her three best friends -- and business partners -- to see her way to her own happy ending.

Just enough ugly reality (a thoroughly narcissistic mother) to balance thoroughly charming main characters.

My first Nora Roberts book. Mom always read her...I thought they were just "old lady" romance novels. I guess I'm an old lady now :) Certainly not to be considered good literature; just a nice light thoughless read.

What a wonderful series of books. Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors. I accidentally found this book and was very happy to find this was a serie sof four books. Each one tells the story of how the 4 wedding planning partners find their sole-mates. Fast paced and exciting. Made me want to be a wedding planner! Highly recommend the series. You won't be sorry.

I really enjoyed this book! I love the relationship between Mac and Carter - I think that's what did it for me. I'm not sure yet if I'll continue the series, as it seems to be from another character's point of view and not Mac's. I just got so attached to Mac! Good and easy read, recommended :)

Nora Roberts delivered a stunning tale once again and I loved it! Mackensie and Carter's romance was beautiful. There were a few annoying moments, mostly thanks to Mac's incredibly self-centered mother and Mac's resulting negative view of love and relationships. But thankfully everything worked out well in the end. Mac learned to say no to her mother and came to trust in the love she had for Carter and the love he had for her.

I love this series! It is the perfect romance series aimed at the mid-twenties, eary thirties age group. I completely identified with the characters as did my friends and we loved chatting about which one of us was the most like each character.

A great light read! I enjoyed the fun, light-hearted and entertaining story and style. True it is predictable, but aren't all chick-fictions so? :) Excited to continue the series.
