This was my first real deeper look into Tokyo Police Club's body of work. I'm not sure if it's the super cool and romanticized name of their band or their indie sound, but I'm captured by the aura they manage to create. The first two songs on this album were strong and meaningful, while the rest after that - from what I gathered as I was driving and listening to the songs - were quite good as well.
To me they seem the kind of band that emits that aura of confidence where you feel like all of their songs are worth listening to. I felt this as I worked my way through this album and as a result I would be looking to listen to more of their stuff in the future.
Another great record from the Canadian Indie Rock group. It seems that they've evolved a bit from their quick 2 minute songs that characterized their last few releases. Best songs: Boots of Danger (wait up), Favorite colour
