A haunting and sometimes creepy novel written like a poem. Recommended for anyone who wants to read something different from Twilight or other teen novels.

Hauntingly beautiful. I loved it.

This book is loosely based on the Manson family murders. Although the writing style and plot is very intriguing, it was a bit too ambiguous to be completely enjoyed. However, the author's use of repetition really conveyed the thoughts of the narrator. Set in the 60's, I felt like I was really in that time period, and really got to understand the thought process of the subculture. I highly recommend this book.
