Barry Allen is trying to diffuse a bomb, but he keeps getting pulled by calls for his alternate identity, the Flash. Can the Barry and the Flash save the day, and find out who is behind all these sinister attacks?

This chapter book is clearly aimed that the Hi-Interest/Low-Vocab market. While I did like that the action words like "whoosh" are written using comic book font, the plot is a little disjointed for "a day in the life" kind of story. Plus the reason why the ultimate villain set up all these attacks is just lame. Both might turn off the reader this book is aimed at.
