Dance Me Outside is a coming-of-age movie about life on a reservation in Ontario. It was based on a short story collection of the same title by W. P. Kinsella, which I have not read. The script was good. It has a nice balance of drama and light comic relief. While it's worth seeing, the film definitely suffers due to its actors' inexperience. It could have been much better with stronger performances. Dance Me Outside is rated R for language and brief violence.

R.I.P Kinsella. I wanted to read your book but will settle for the movie.

This coming of age story takes place on the Kidabanese reservation in Canada. Two friends, Silas and Frank decide to take a course in mechanics so they can learn how to fix cars.
