The competition between Arsinoe, Mirabella, and Katharine continues in One Dark Throne, with Arsinoe, who is actually a poisoner, Katharine, who seems a bit off, and Mirabella, who is less certain about her triumph. I enjoyed this book…

I really enjoyed this read! I like stories and this type of genre with kings and queens or princes and princess and the fight to rule the kingdom! I picked up One Dark Throne to read thinking it was the 1st book of the series. As I started…

I knew it was going to be hard to match my love for Three Dark Crowns, and though One Dark Throne was amazing, I felt it lacking in the original magic of the first book. Don't get me wrong, the story of the three queens is still action…

I enjoyed this book more than the first. I found the change in character dynamics intriguing and the challenges placed in the Queen's way engaging to read about. Definitely a solid 4/5 in my opinion!

This series is so thoroughly engaging. In this book, my affinity for both Arsinoe and Mirabella grew, and left me hoping that all three sisters would find a way to reunite and overcome the expectations of the island for the queens to kill…

There may be spoilers for book one in this series! All the queens have gone home and it doesn't seem like anyone is going to press things, despite Katharine being, well, Katharine and Mirabella being a little ticked at being attacked by a…

4 stars - I recommend if you enjoy fantasy. It is a good follow up to the first book, and I am still not really sure what will happen with the series. As the Ascension year is under way Katharine, Arsinoe, and Mirabella are finally able…

I loved it. Another fun adventure full of deceit and intrigue to win the crown. I can't wait to read the next book.

Terrific follow up to "Three Dark Crowns" follows the twisted sisters in their quest for supremacy of their island kingdom.

For me, the pace of the book is slow and there are a lot of characters and places to keep track of. However, once I got into it, it was really good! A definite read for those who love fantasy and Victoria Aveyard'so Red Queen series.

I was disappointed with the first book but I still decided to read the second book hoping for a good sequel. I should have known that it would be the same as the first book. Arsinoe, Mirabella, and Katharine have now switched positions…

Blake is the real deal with this follow up to Three Dark Crowns. The saga continues as the triplets continue to grapple for the right to rule their island kingdom.

This was DEFINITELY better and more fast paced than the first book. The ending was a bit of a cliff hanger however it sort of works out since I am really anticipating the next book. To be totally honest i expected this to flop since it’s…

One Dark Throne (sequel to Three Dark Crowns) is an impressive journey that turns everything from the first book upside down. I can gladly say this one was filled with just as much action, if not more, than the first book! I also have to…

A good resolution to this dark, dystopian tale. Three young queens and sisters must battle to the death for the crown, using their special powers to defeat each other. I loved all the characters, but identified most with Arsinoe and…

What a ride. It was definitely hard to put this down and I only did because I had other things to do. The world is interesting. That ending was sad but... weirdly appropriate.

I enjoyed the first book, but this one was definitely better. Some of the more pesky aspects from the first book were handled much better in this book, like the pacing and the love triangle. This is a good book for anyone looking for YA…
